Project “Kindness Week”

In this project, our students focussed on respect, empathy and what it means to be kind to one another. At the beginning of the week, we read a short book about random acts of kindness. We also brainstormed about  what it means to be kind and composed a mindmap. The students loved the “Compliment Jar” activity. Everyone was asked to write a small compliment on a heart-shaped piece of paper for each one of their classmates. The final result was a paper jar filled with love and compliments. We firmly believe that everyone is more aware now of what it means and what it takes to be kind to the people around you.
