Cutout Museum
Students from our school went on a special trip to the Cutout Museum in Konstancin. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about one of the most characteristic forms of Polish folk art – colorful and intricately crafted paper cutouts.
During the visit, participants learned how traditional patterns are created, what techniques were used by folk artists in the past, and what meanings the various motifs held. The biggest attraction, however, turned out to be the practical workshop, during which everyone could create their own artwork using colored paper and special scissors.
The trip provided plenty of inspiration and allowed the students to view folk art from a new perspective. They returned full of impressions, taking with them not only their handmade cutouts but also a wealth of knowledge about Polish tradition.
We would like to thank the Cutout Museum in Konstancin-Jeziorna for the warm welcome, and we are already looking forward to our next cultural adventures!
