I have always wanted to be a French teacher, especially since my first journey to France when I was 11. Everything was so new to me and different. To this day, the song “Joe le Taxi” by Vanessa Paradis evokes memories of France seen through the eyes of a child. I also remember the first words that I have learned from French children. Later I could show off at school! Consequently, the choice of faculty was obvious. I graduated from the University of Warsaw at the faculty of French Philology with the specialization in Teaching. During my studies I focused not only on improving the knowledge of French but also learned the methodology of French language teaching. For that reason, I had a practice at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis on the Cote d’Azur. I have gained my professional experience while working with middle school students and managers in large corporations. During my longer stays in France, I organized additional activities for French students and preschoolers. Teaching French is a great adventure for me. I try to be creative and use all aspects of polisensoric learning method which is the key to the success in teaching both younger and older students. French cuisine, especially Provencal one, is my biggest weakness; however, French songs are my greatest love.
