Anna Perkowska

In 2005 I graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. I have been working with children since that moment. As I was more and more involved in the work with children, I had a need to develop my skills and qualifications. Therefore, I acquired qualifications to teach the youngest children and to administer educational institutions at the Warsaw University. I also graduated in Journalism and Social Communication at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. I completed the camp counselor course and the coordinator of summer camps and field trips course which enable me to participate in trips with children as it gives me a great joy and precious experience. I also took part in the Course of Fun twice and I use the methods, that I became acquainted with during those trainings, in my work with children and when I host workshops for future animators and summer camp counselors.

My passion is a regular and everyday work with children and I cannot imagine doing anything else. As a teacher I focus my attention on the needs of children, their hobbies, talents, and on improving all those skills which guarantee success in future education. I try to instill in my students the joy of learning so that they will not treat it only as an obligation. In my leisure time I usually travel, do sightseeing, drive, cycle, ski, go for a walk, play volleyball, badminton, and board games. I like theater, cinema, music, especially film music. I also adore nature, countryside, and folklore. I am fond of Spain as I am interested in the culture of this country. I went on three walking trips to Santiago de Compostela through the French, Northern, and Portuguese routes.

I like the character of our school – two programs in which the languages and cultures mix with each other. It is very challenging but also a great and precious experience. I am also pleased to have an opportunity to work with wonderful teachers, pedagogues, specialists who perform their duties with responsibility, engagement, and joy.
